Ukiyo (浮世, "floating, fleeting, or transient world") describes the urban lifestyle, especially the pleasure-seeking aspects, of Edo-period Japan (1600–1867).
With a 115mm waist width and a generous 152mm wide tip, we set the tone at the outset with the introduction of our UKYIO model in the Wide Skis Category. The ski flies over the snow and plays with the relief, thanks to its short under-foot radius and smooth transitions to the tips. It turns on a head pin and in a heart beat, squeezes through the trees and slashes the slightest accumulation of snow. Light front and rear rockers make it hover like no other in powder and the solid flex along the running length keeps you in full control of your turns.
